Uses / Indications

LEVILEX 500 mg Tablet is used for:

• Epilepsy (seizure disorder)
• Partial-onset seizures
• Generalized tonic-clonic seizures
• Myoclonic seizures
• Used alone or with other anti-epileptic medicines

Mechanism of Action

• Acts on SV2A protein in brain neurons
• Controls abnormal electrical activity in the brain
• Prevents spread of seizure impulses
• Reduces frequency of seizures

Dosage & Administration

• Strength: 500 mg tablet
• Route: Oral
• Taken once or twice daily (doctor decided)
• Swallow whole with water
• Can be taken with or without food

How to Use

• Take at same time daily
• Do not crush or chew
• Long-term treatment is usually required
• Do not stop suddenly (risk of seizure increase)
